Ecological mind!

I must confess the environmental is a worry for me since I arrived to Santiago. When I lived in San Felipe city, this topic was not important for me and nobody spoke about this…  In Santiago the people speaks about the ecological topics and the things about recycling are a trendy

But protect the environment is more than only recycle!

When I began to interest in this topic I learned about environmental friendly practice in the internet and I tried to share this way for exist with my friends… but is very difficult! The people don´t want to change your practices and in generally they try not to think about the importance of your acts for the environmental

Now I live in a building with a system of recycle, in side to the trash there is a compartment for recycle plastics, glasses and cardboard… it’s easy and I try to recycle all the possible (although my brother don’t help me).

I didn’t join an eco-organization… mainly because I don’t have time for be active member but I follow various eco-organizations in the social networks… is the perfect way for know more about the topic and know tips for protect the environment; recycle, reutilization, reduction and save energy.

I think recycle, save energy and don't buy unnecessary things help to reduce my carbon footprint…

The most important about the protect the environment is the culture! The persons need a ecology culture and they precise information about your acts and this impact the environmental! In Santiago it’s especially important the topic of the pollution

 I can’t be accustomed to see a black-cloud over the city!  I breathe this contaminated air! it's terrible!

Today I’m going to talk about a specially friend and your talent

I want speak about him because He will be a birthday and I’m thinking about your present.

Jorge is my best friend, is a very interesting person! He studied engineering and knows about a lot of things! But the most especially about Jorge is your talent for write… Jorge is an author in potential! He writes many stories about different topics, He haves a similar style to E. Poe… your stories have mysterious and suspense… if you read a story by Jorge you can’t stop to read to the end. But exist a problem, Jorge is very insecure! He don´t show your stories… He think your stories are boring or too complicated and hide your stories… is very sad because I think if Jorge know about your talent he can take advantage of it and be a great author!

I admire to authors because they can express with words many things, they can provoke sentiments with your stories… and this is magical! I think if you have a talent is your duty uses it.

In some weeks, Jorge will be birthday and I’m thinking will give an especially present for him… I’m thinking about made a little book with the best stories by Jorge… but now I don’t secure about it… I´m insecure too!

If you have a talent… uses it! On the contrary you lose a great opportunity of realize your dreams!

If you look statistics about mental health, you can see that 1 of 4 persons experience some type of mental health problem. The anxiety is the most popular of mental health problem… but not always the anxiety it’s a problem… in fact, the anxiety is an emotion very important for the humans because this reaction help us to know about the danger in the environment and was very important in the evolution process. The anxiety it’s a problem when this emotion when it’s a permanent emotion and leave to predict potential dangerous.

The anxiety it’s a big problem for the persons, because they be anxious all the time and can’t have a normal life, the persons with a anxiety disorders can loose your function in progressive way, therefore the anxiety begin to capture the interest of the scientist, they try understand the neuronal mechanism under the anxiety.

A recent Study about the anxiety found that exist a link between the olfactory activity and the region in the brain associated with the emotional reactivity.  The persons with anxiety perceive the smell stimulus as a disagreeable although the stimulus is normal, so maybe  the anxious persons perceive the reality in different way and this create a dangerous sense about the environment.

It’s very important learnt more about the mental health and don’t continue with stereotypes as a Tesco and Asda, that create a Halloween custome about the persons that suffer anxiety, promote a stereotype and without understand this problem.

My career

Hello!

Today I’m going to talk about my career; Psychology.

I choose this career because I’d like understand the mind of the people and can help us.

The psychology had a variety of areas and currents. The University of Chile teaches mainly about 5 areas; educational psychology, juridical psychology, clinical psychology, labor psychology and communitarian psychology. I think that it’s very interested can learn about different areas because in other universities you can only learn about one area.

I think the most important for learn psychology is that you want help the society. When you speak with other persons about his problems you can understand things about the word… and you can stop of judge the people and began to understand why has determinate behavior.  

Actually I like the humanist psychology, because this current has a positive conception of the human, the focal point is the health and not the pathology and the emotions and body are very important. I think the humanist psychology can help normal people and not only pathological cases.

Other current that I consider interest is the communitarian psychology, because this focus can help people in own ambient, tackle problematic important for the community and promote the quality of life of all communities.

The psychology is interest and varied,

 I think that is a beautiful career =)
